You can earn 3.0 Graduate Credits for full participation in the On Course I or On Course II Workshops and the completion of an online course after the workshop. These graduate credits are offered by the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and are transferable to most master’s or doctoral programs.
Both courses are authored by On Course founder Dr. Skip Downing and taught by experienced On Course instructors. The courses include assignments designed to support your effective implementation of empowering learner-centered strategies at your college or university. “As someone who took both On Course graduate classes, I cannot recommend them highly enough. I was around 50 years old when I took them, so I was of the mindset that I was just learning to help our students. In the end, I had to admit that I experienced personal growth in addition to learning many ways to help our students. What more can we ask of any course we take?” – Therese Nemec, Director of Instructional Excellence, Fox Valley Technical College, WI

“I felt ready to empower my students and myself after the On Course I Workshop, but the graduate course took me to the next level where I was able to use my new tools in a conscientious and measurable way. The course content–along with my fabulous classmates and facilitator–not only helped me walk through a more thoughtful choice process of what I was doing in class but also guided me through a meaningful outcomes assessment.” – Mickey Marsee, Ph.D., Faculty, English, University of New Mexico -Los Alamos, NM
